Why did I receive a "Salesforce email verification" email?

Simpplr is a platform hosted on Salesforce. Because of this, sometimes new Salesforce security settings effect Simpplr users, even if your org is not actively using Salesforce. As of 2022, Salesforce has rolled out new security settings that require users to verify their email address.

A detailed explanation as to the reason for the verification can be found on Salesforce's Support site. Below is a link to the article.

As a Simpplr user, all you need to know is that this is not a phishing email.
