App Management: How do I grant Employee Newsletter control to certain users?

App managers can grant Newsletter creation privilege to users and Site managers. To do so:

1. Click on your user profile image in the upper right-hand corner and go to Manage > Application.
2. Go to Setup > Privileges. Scroll down to Newsletters and enter the name of the user(s) you want to allow permissions under Grant newsletter control to people. These users can create newsletters to send to everyone in the entire organization, or just to a specific site's members.
   
   
   If you want a Site owner/manager to be able to create a newsletter to their site members, you can add the site name under Grant newsletter control to site owner/managers. Then scroll down and click Save.
   

   If Newsletter control is given to certain sites, the owners and managers of that site will have the ability to create and distribute newsletters only to the members of that site. If the user owns or manages multiple sites, they will not be able to create a newsletter for any of those unless the site is added to the list in Manage > Application > Privileges or the site owner/manager is added individually as a user to the Grant newsletter control to people list.

   When an individual user is added to Grant newsletter control to people, they have the ability to create and distribute newsletters for any audience. 

   Newsletter themes, templates and categories are visible to all users by default and not driven by access privileges.

   Drafts are accessible to all Newsletter users (including Site owners/managers) until recipients are defined. When a draft’s recipients are set to All org or an audience, only App managers/owners with newsletter control can access these drafts.

   Site managers/owners with newsletter control can see drafts with no defined recipients or where the recipients are exclusively members of a site(s) they own or manage.
