Below is a general example of a perception survey we've seen intranet managers send to their users. You're welcome to use it however you'd like. We also highly recommend checking out the Employee listening suite if your org isn't already using it! With the suite, you have access to hundreds of survey questions and themes, as well as a number of survey types like Pulse, All-purpose and Engagement surveys.

Existing survey?
Do you have an intranet perception survey you’ve run previously? If so, you’ll want to carry over questions where appropriate so you can trend data and track improvements.
Profile data
Ideally key employee segmentation data can be included with the survey data you collect. This will allow you to segment your results and see how responses differ by region, department, etc.
We also recommend this survey not be anonymous. This will allow you to drill down to individual respondents if you want to speak with them directly based on their feedback.
Participation
For best response rates you can do any/all of the following:
- Send at least one or two reminder emails.
- Promote the survey on your Simpplr home carousel by creating a dedicated survey page that explains Why it’s important to get people’s feedback. Bonus: Include previous feedback and what actions were taken based on it.
- Ask managers to encourage participation.
