Overview
We are rolling out 5 upgraded dashboards - developed on the new analytics platform with enhanced features for our users . The dashboards being rolled out are the following:
- Moderation Analytics
- Campaigns - Overview, Content, Audience
- Help desk
Some of the key improvements that our users will be able to see are the following:
- Enhanced filter functionality with multi-select options for attributes like department, location
- Relevant KPIs displayed prominently for a quick overview of performance
- Flexible time bucketing options to view trends at varying granularities
- Drill-down options on charts for deeper analysis
Time filter Enhancements ( wherever applicable)
A new “Year to Date” time filter has been introduced, complementing the existing options such as 30 days, 90 days, and custom date ranges. This filter displays metrics from the start of the current year (January) to the present date, enabling users to analyze year-long trends and patterns in adoption and other performance metrics.
This filter is applied across all applicable dashboards and allows users to view metrics on a "Year to Date" basis—for example, to track Adoption trends across months within the current year.
Note : All time filters are applicable to the widgets globally. Widget level time filters are not longer available.
Filter Enhancements
Multi-select functionality has been introduced across all available filters, including Department, Location, and User Category. This enhancement allows users to select multiple filter values simultaneously, making it easier to compare data across segments and generate more flexible, insightful reports. By enabling broader combinations of filters, reporting and data exploration more flexible.
Relevant KPIs/ Hero metrics at the top of the dashboards
KPI (Hero Metric) widgets have been introduced at the top of relevant dashboards to provide quick visibility into key performance measures. These widgets help users assess progress at a glance and track whether outcomes align with expected goals.
In this release, KPI widgets have been added to most dashboards wherever applicable. Each widget includes a clear heading and subheading for context, while detailed descriptions will be available in the support documentation.
KPI widgets provide at-a-glance updates on the most important performance measures, making it easy to spot whether progress is being made as expected.

Detailed notes on each of the widgets will be part of the support documents
Improved time filter granularity to see trends
This applies across all dashboards showing data on a timeline and provides the flexibility to see data at a level of granularity of the users' choice
Time filter granularity has been enhanced across all dashboards displaying timeline-based data. Users can now choose their preferred time bucket, such as daily, weekly, or monthly views, to analyze trends with greater flexibility. By default, data continues to display at a daily level.
User flow : This option can be accessed by
- Clicking the downward arrow next to the X-axis label (e.g., “Reporting Date”) to select the desired granularity.
Chart showing daily granularity
Chart showing data aggregated at a 'Weekly' level of granularity
Drill down option on charts
Drilldown functionality has been introduced across all dashboards, enabling users to explore data at multiple levels of granularity.
This enhancement allows users to interactively navigate from high-level summaries to detailed breakdowns by clicking on specific data points or categories within charts.
By providing greater depth and flexibility, the drilldown feature makes it easier to uncover insights behind top-level metrics and analyze underlying patterns or trends more effectively.
User flow : To drill down on any data point,
- Right click on the Data point --> Drill down--> select the attribute to drill down on
- Users can select any attribute to explore data in greater depth and analyze specific data points.
-
Users can use the Back button on a widget to return to the previous chart view and the Download button to export detailed data in CSV format.
Note: The downloaded CSV file follows a standard data structure that remains consistent regardless of the drill down level performed and is applicable on specific charts only
-
In addition, each widget now includes supplementary data points to help users interpret and analyze information more effectively.
Note :- On enabling "Recognition" feature after disabling it, The recognise button on the My Teams - recognise recommendations card will not be visible until the next analytics run

Content Dashboard: filters apply across all widgets
What changed
The Department, Location, Segment, and Company filters on the Content Dashboard now apply consistently to every widget on the page, including KPIs, charts, and tables. Previously, a filter selection did not always carry through to all widgets.
How it works
Changing any of the four filters re-queries all tiles on the dashboard using the same filter set. Each widget retains its own metric logic; only the audience slice changes. Date range and other standard dashboard controls continue to work as before.
Saved views and exports inherit the active filter set, so what you see on screen matches what is exported or saved.
Note: Filters reflect the user profile attributes and data available in your organization. If a selected attribute value has no matching data, the affected widgets show empty states.
Search Dashboard: new Company filter
What changed
A Company filter is now available on the Search Dashboard. This lets app managers analyze search behavior and outcomes by company name, consistent with the filtering already available on the Content Dashboard.
How it works
The Company filter applies to all KPIs, charts, and tables on the Search Dashboard for the selected period. It works alongside the date range and other dashboard controls. The filter state persists while you navigate within the dashboard.
Analytics performance improvements
What changed
Content and Search dashboards now load faster, and widgets refresh more quickly when you change a filter or date range. Navigation between analytics pages is also smoother.
How it works
The improvements are infrastructure and query-level changes. No workflow changes are needed. Faster load and refresh times apply automatically to all users of the app-level analytics dashboards.
Frequently asked questions
Q: Do the filter changes affect how metrics are calculated?
Ans: No. Metric definitions remain the same. The filters change which audience slice is used across widgets, ensuring a consistent view of the same cohort throughout the dashboard.
Q: Do saved views and exports pick up the active filters?
Ans: Yes. Saved views and exports inherit the current filter set, including Department, Location, Segment, Company, and date range.
Q: Does the Company filter apply to everything on the Search Dashboard?
Ans: Yes. The Company filter applies to all KPIs, charts, and tables on the Search Dashboard for the selected period.
Q: Do I need to do anything to get the performance improvements?
Ans: No. The improvements are backend changes. Faster load and refresh times apply automatically.
