Improvements

Core intranet

Custom 'send content' notification messages

Users now can send customized messages for in-app and push notifications, allowing for increased awareness of important notifications and better engagement with the intranet.

Apps launcher updates

Users can now add their own links to the apps launcher. In the My links tab, end users can add any links they'd like that will only reflect for them. This will be allowed if the app manager enables it in Manage > Application.

Users can also mark any existing links as favorites, in which case they'll move to the My links tab. Users can add up to 30 links.

Finally, with the My links tab, in Edit mode, they can remove any saved links or personally added links, as well as change the order in which they appear.

 

Note that this feature will be released gradually. All customers will have access to this feature in the upcoming 25.06 release. For now, only limited customers will have access.

"Is Manager" for Audience creation 

In Manage > Audiences, app managers and those with permission can now use a new attribute, "Is Manager" to create an audience in the intranet. Is Manager is defined as users who have at least one direct report in the org.

Note that this feature will be released gradually. All customers will have access to this feature in the upcoming 25.05 release. For now, only limited customers will have access.

Special features

Recognition & Rewards updates

  • When setting up Rewards, Recognition managers now have the ability to select from multiple options for how their points will convert to USD (e.g. 15 points = 1$ USD). Note you can only change this before you've enabled Rewards. If this is not done prior to enabling Reward, contact Support to have Simpplr enable it for you.
  • Users with permission to edit dashboards can now add or update Recognition activity tiles to show all recognition activity in the tile.

Employee listening/Surveys updates

  • Save surveys as draft without a scheduled date
    • When configuring a survey, survey managers and creators can now choose between scheduling it to be sent at a specific time or saving it for later without a scheduled date. This gives you greater control over your survey’s timeline.
  • Rich text editor for survey introduction and thank you messages

    • Survey managers and creators can now use the same rich text editor (the one used in Feed) to format custom Introduction and Thank You messages when creating surveys. This includes adding hyperlinks, bullet points, and other rich formatting options so that you can provide engaging information to your respondents.

Soft update (Mobile app update suggestion)

In this release we are introducing Soft Update feature to ensure mobile users always have access to the latest improvements and security updates. Our mobile users will see update prompt whenever there is new mobile app version available to update.
