New Error help: character length exceeded
Hi folks,
Has anyone come across this error before? One of my staff could not publish a page due to "Character length exceeded", and I could not find any reference to it or how to work around it. Eventually I published the page on her behalf with the information and had not trouble, but wondering if anyone has seen something similar and knows what to avoid so I can let them know how to not do it again.

Hi Becky! The character limit on a page is around 300k. While we wouldn't recommend publishing content with that amount of text in it, I've never actually seen it happen before. Do you know roughly how many characters were in the content? And to confirm, you were able to publish it as-is, with no change to the amount of text/characters?
I'm receiving the same error message and my page only has 1,167 with spaces.
I also receive the error and have very limited text and images. I am wondering if this error stems from a setting with Salesforce, which our intranet is integrated with.
I got that error today and had to start a page entirely over. I have no idea why it happened. After I rebooted, I was able to recreate the page. I got this and also a 404 error. It seems to be a glitch of some sort.
I have just received this error and have approx 10k characters on the page. Well under the limit. I cannot figure out how to even save as draft. I'm using the accordion feature. Does that matter? It doesn't seem like it should be hitting the limit.
Hi Amy. Based on the fact that you're nowhere near hitting the character limit, I think this is a bug you're experiencing. Go ahead and submit a ticket to our Support team so they can look into this and get the issue resolved.
