Unable to added comments to Page

Hello,

We have a page that has the "comments" and "questions" box checked; however, when the page is published it is not allowing users to add comments/questions. At the bottom of the page, it says, "Comments and questions are only available on published content". This is highly confusing as the page is published. Any thoughts or help would be most appreciated.

  • To add to this...it looks like this is happening to all of the pages coming from one site. When I check the Site Setup, 'Content Post' is enabled.

  • Hi Christina. I want to check a few things. First, is Content posts enabled at the site level? It would need to be to transfer down to the content level. Second, does the author/creator of the page have the ability to publish it? When they click Save, does it give the 'Publish' option or 'Submit for approval' option? If it's the latter, a Content manager or above will have to approve and publish the page on behalf of the author.

    Thank you for the questions. In what I can see of the Site it is setup like all of our other sites (this is the only Site that is giving me this issue) and the author of the pages are either an App Manager or Site Owner.

  • Hi Christine. If this is still an issue you're seeing, I'm going to suggest submitting a ticket to our Support team so they can actually look into the environment and find out what's happening.
