System admins and App managers can log into your Simpplr Salesforce backend to view which release you're currently on. To do so:
- Go to Salesforce by removing everything after .com from the Simpplr url.
- Go to Setup in the top right corner. Then in the Quick Find box, type Installed Packages and click the result.
- Scroll down until you see Simpplr and click the name.
- In the Installed Package Detail menu, find Version Name. That is the release your organization currently has installed.

It looks like you don't have the proper Salesforce permission set in your profile type. To view the Setup menu you need the "View Setup and Configuration" permission set assigned to your profile in Salesforce. Your Salesforce/system administrator can configure this.
Hey Michelle. If you click into Simpplr under Package Name, that will show you the version name.
I'm following these instructions but only see this.
Thank you Matthew, I don't see a gear icon or quick find box though... is that layout the same for an App Manager?
Hi Aileen. From Salesforce, click Switch to Lightning Experience at the top. From there, it's virtually all the same. The Setup button is now a gear icon. But the Quick Find box is still there. Nothing else changes.
how do I do this in the lightning version of simpplr salesforce as an app manager?
Thank you for the advice!
