App Management: Navigation Setup

Use this walkthrough to set up navigation for your Simpplr app.

Single Sign-on

Our Launchpad (found in the header navigation) offers quick access to your Single Sign-on apps. Integrate with OKTA or OneLogin in Manage App > Integrations. If you are using Okta or OneLogin, please be sure to enter your Okta or OneLogin integration credential under the Integrations tab.

You can select which SSO you are using in the Launchpad tab. Click on the drop-down arrow next to Launchpad Integration and select your SSO.

Custom JSON:

If you are not using Okta or OneLogin, you can select Custom JSON.

You can use the JSON format below as the template. Simply change the name, URL, and image URL (the app logo URL) to the business applications that you want to display in the launchpad, then enter the code in the Custom JSON field.

class Greeter def initialize(name) @name = name.capitalize end def salute puts "Hello #{@name}!" end end g ="world") g.salute

# Custom JSON template
	"name": "Google Mail",
	"url": "",
	"img": ""
}, {
	"name": "Simpplr",
	"url": "",
	"img": ""
}, {
	"name": "Xero",
	"url": "",
	"img": ""

Custom Links

Within the Launchpad you can add external or internal links in the Links tab. Enter the URL label and URL, click Add, then click Save at the bottom of the page.

Salesforce link in User Menu

A link to Salesforce can be added to the user menu for all employees.

Org Chart

You can select whether you want the Org Chart to be visible within the app. Org Chart shows the hierarchy of the organization based on who employees report to and their direct reports.

Salesforce Lightning Behavior

You can select the browser behavior when logging in from Salesforce Lightning.
