How to use custom font in Simpplr?

This change has to be done by App Manager.

Click on your avatar at the upper right hand corner, go to "Brand Editor" and go to "Font" from the pull down menu. If you have the Spring 18, click on your avatar, go to "Manage" > "Branding".   Select "font" from the drop down, then select the "Custom Font" option.

You should upload the custom fonts to either some server like AWS, S3, or zip the fonts and upload to Salesforce as Static Resources. Then create a css file like the sample below and paste it into the custom font text area of the brand editor. Click "Save" and Simpplr will start using the new font.

Please do keep in mind that you cannot use a custom font selectively. The whole app will be using the custom font everywhere.

The following sample CSS is an example when you zip the font files and upload to "Static Resources" in Salesforce. The Static Resources name is "SimpplrFont".

    @font-face {
        font-family: 'SimpplrFont';
        src: url('/resource/fonts/MuseoSans_300-webfont.woff') format('woff');
        font-weight: normal;
        font-style: normal;
    }

    @font-face {
        font-family: 'SimpplrFont';
        src: url('/resource/fonts/MuseoSans_500-webfont.woff') format('woff');
        font-weight: 500;
        font-style: normal;
    }

    @font-face {
        font-family: 'SimpplrFont';
        src: url('/resource/fonts/MuseoSans_500-webfont.woff') format('woff');
        font-weight: bold;
        font-style: normal;
    }

The first one is for regular font, and the second is for a bolder version. If you do not include a bold version, the browser will automatically try to handle bold text, but it might not look as crisp as possible.
