How to configure overall control of Simpplr, include feed, dashboard control, content submissions, feed posts, and feed placement texts?

App Manager can configure the over control of the app:

1. Click on your avatar at the upper right hand corner, go to "Manage Application".
2. Click on the "Set up" >  "Governance" tab.

Feed:
Select "Yes" if you allow feed posts. Select "No" if you do not allow feed posts in Simpplr.

Dashboard Control:

Home Dashboard control:

If you allow users to set up their own dashboard tiles, select "User". Users will still see the home carousel content that App Managers select for everyone to see.

If you want to control home dashboard tiles for everyone, select "App Manager".

Site Dashboard control:

Select "Site Manager" to allow site manager set up the site dashboards that they manage. They will see the "Dashboard" tab under the "Manage Site".

Select "App Manager" to restrict site managers from accessing the "Dashboard" tab in "Manage Site". Only app managers can set up site dashboard for all sites.

Home Feed Placement:

If you select "App Manager" under "Home Dashboard control", you will see the option to set up "Home Feed Placement".  You will not see this section if "User" is selected for "Home Dashboard Control".

Select "Show on feed page" if you want the home feed appear on a separate page. Select "Include on home dashboard" if you want to include feed on the home dashboard.

Site Feed Placement:

If you select "App Manager" under "Site Dashboard control", you will see the option to set up "Site Feed Placement".  You will not see this section if "Site Manager" is selected for "Site Dashboard Control".
Select "Show on feed page" if you want the site feed appear on a separate page. Select "Include on site dashboard" if you want to include feed on the site dashboard.

Content Submissions:

Check this box if you allow users to submit content to all sites. If you do not allow users submit content, uncheck this box.

Content Feed Posts:
Check the box if you allow comment on content. This will allow content authors to add a feed posts to the bottom of the content for people to comment.
