I received an "Connect API Limit reached" error, what does it mean?

Salesforce has a limit of 1000 (up to 3000) API call limit per user per hour.

Our dashboard page consumes 10 API call per load (refresh). If you refresh the dashboard page about 100 times in an hour, you might receive an "Connect API Limit reached" error depending on your limit. 

If you expect to be in a meeting with a lot of interactions and requires a lot of pages reloading, the alternative is to post in Chatter directly to avoid the API limit error.
